I spent quality time watching LUKE a rather remarkable Asian elephant

before the Two Tails Ranch tour took place on Saturday 10/13.

He took notice of me at the viewing area and walked over to check

me out...this new strange creature that he was not familiar. I was and

still amazed at his size. Credit is due Patty Zebrini...for extremely

excellent quarters for his habitat and the quality of care...She and her

staff provide provisions not available to him in the wild. First of all

is protection from poaching...he being in excellent health is evident of

the quality of care he has been given by TTR. There are

seven elephants in this facility...If EVER you are given to

opportunity to visit this outstanding facility take it...put it on your

Bucket List. Patty provided for the attendees an informative talk on ALL

things elephant. Luke painted and I purchased one of the sections of his

efforts...I will have it professionally framed and located in our elephant room

at home...Thank You Patty...Gary...Luke

and staff for the all you do to make TTR a success.

Three Rivers Festival 2018 CHALKWALK Sponsored by the FWMoA Fort Wayne, Indiana Sunday, July 15, 2018 I usually don't give much commentary but this year is different. Allen Etter is physically not among us. His spirit was felt. I had Allen as an instructor while I was attending IPFW pursuing my BFA in Photography...that is another story. His incite, instruction and encouragement will long be remembered and I frequently pass along what I experienced to others while I was a student under his guidance. The WALK this year was different for me. I tried focusing on artists that were still in the finishing stages of their pieces. Overall I was thoroughly impressed with the size of some of the works and the diversity of talent. I could not begin to imagine the prep work involved in some of these creations. Many of artists that I spoke with were graduates of the SFU or IPFW...For me this is my major TRF event. I look forward to t
